Emergency Preparedness & Disaster Relief
Rapid-response teams that deploy to crisis zones and areas hit by natural disasters. Teams help ease overwhelmed local systems by distributing critical resources including medical care, rebuilding downed networks, and transporting vital goods for basic needs like drinking water and hot meals.

Public Health & Preventive Care
Pop-up events that help promote overall wellbeing and disease-prevention initiatives. Projects range from vaccination campaigns, nutrition supplementation, lifestyle & reproductive health/ family planning, wellness & hygiene education, and suicide prevention/ mental health awareness.

Long-Term or Post-Residency Programs
For licensed healthcare professionals with BIG hearts who are willing to commit months or years to either the U.S. Pacific or U.S. Caribbean region, integrating deeply with the communities and helping to establish ongoing medical centers or support regional health facilities.

Because island communities often face unique logistical, infrastructure, and resource constraints, AIHI evaluates proposed in-kind contributions based on current needs, suitability, condition, implementation requirements, and our ability to use or distribute the contribution effectively.
We encourage prospective donors to contact us via email at community@americanislandhealth.org before donating goods or services so our team can determine whether the contribution aligns with an identified need.

At the donor’s request, AIHI may notify the individual or family that a tribute gift has been made. The amount of the contribution will remain private unless the donor requests otherwise.
